Silverpaw raced across the edge of the river, not bothering to attempt to catch what few fish there is as she was doing before. She had heard about Redfangs death and the clan meeting that had been called to appoint a new deputy. She didn't want to miss this as it would be rather rude, and she was extremely curious to see who the new deputy would be. Unfortunately, before this she was wandering near the river and practicing climbing trees as she liked to do often. She wanted to make a great hunter and in order to accomplish that she was planning on practicing her running and climbing skills. But now, as she was sprinting at top speed, desperately trying to get back before the meeting was over, she was starting to question why she had gone so far away.
Her heart was pumping in her ears, her legs burning, and her throat sore from her ragged breaths as she came up to where the pack meeting was being held. Well, she thought, I've had my running for today. It was then she noticed that everyone was already leaving and let out an angry growl that was probably louder then she meant. She now needed to find Sunstar, apologize for her absence at such an important time, and find out who is the new deputy. And do all of that without crying or seeming too un-emotional.
The way Silverpaw looked at it was that Redfang was now with the StarClan, and though she didn't know much about the StarClan she knew it wasn’t a bad place. But she also knew he wasn’t ready to die yet, and a lot of members of the TigerClan will miss him. Her emotions could switch any time, to being not sad, knowing Redfang was in the StarClan, to crying in front of people because of his death, which was something she did not like to do.
She spotted Sunstar with a couples others and made her way over.
