Here are the Frequently Asked Questions. If you have a question that you believe should be here then PLEASE PM a Staff member.

What is Legacy?
-Legacy is a Role Playing game based of the series Warriors by Erin Hunter. If you have not read it then i would reccomend it!

Can i create Fireheart,bluestar etc?
-Yes and No. You may use the names however that does not mean your character is like fireheart in the books and so forth.

Avatar and Signature dimesions, how big can they be?
-No avatar should be more then 140 width x 170 hieght pixels. As for signatures do not strech the board. and for right now there is nothing specific but it will be changed.

Can i create a starclan prophecy?
-Yes and No. Only one that will be creating the prophecy's are administrators. The way you will know if a prophecy comes around is if you get a PM asking you to join a specific thread. And there will be a annoucement that shows whats going on. IF!!! you wish to be a part of a prophecy that just works with your clan or with certian people then you may contact a admin and talk to them about it. If they approve it then you may 'create' a prophecy

Can i have a cat named Spike?
-Yes and No. Only way you can have a cat named Spike is if they are a Loner which are rare. Clan cats will have descriptive names. Like Iceclaw or GoldFeather.

If a cat has kit as its second half of its name or paw what does that mean?
-If a cat is named say Icekit then it is still a cub and less then 6 mooons old. When one is old enough to be a apprentice they will get their new name. I.e Icekit would become Icepaw. Once Icepaw was old enough/experienced enough to be a warrior they would get their warrior name. Which could be say Iceclaw or Icefang.

What positions are availble?
-Well we have a side table that says Clan information. Each clan has 1 leader, 1 deputy, 1 medicine cat and 1 medicine cat apprentice. If they say None by the title then that means you may audition for the title. Then there are always the backbone of the clans with the Warriors, the Apprentices, the Elders and the Queens.

What do those titles mean?
-Leader is just that. The leader of the clan. Deputy is the one that is in charge when the leader is away and who will become the next leader. The Medicine cat is the one that is in charge of taking care of the clans injuries. The apprentice's are those that will become Warriors. And there is a special apprentice that is just for the medicine cat that will learn from them and become the new one should the other one pass or become a elder. Warriors are those that are able to fend for the clan and get them food as well as protect the clan from invaders. Elders are those that are to old to fight or to hunt. As such they get the respect that all elders recieve. Queens are the females of the clans that are currently carring cubs or have produced clubs that are not ready to be a apparentice.

Can i have a leader, a deputy and a medicinecat?
-Yes and no. You may have 1 leader/deputy and 1 medicine cat. However with starclan cats you can have a leader there and a live leader, the starclan positions do not come into play for those that are 'alive'. Meaning you could have 10 leaders in starclan but youd still only be allowed 1 leader that is in charge of a clan. Though if there are to many leaders popping up in starclan it will be closed

Somewhere it says Leaders can have 9 lives. Is that correct?
-Yes but to recieve these nine lives they must tavel(post) at Stone mountian where they talk to Starclan.

Can my character have 9 lives?
-Only if they are a leader can they recieve 9 lives.

How does one become a apprentice?
-Simple. You can either create a cub that is 6 moons old or you may adopt a cub.

What does a apprentice do?
- A Apprentice is matched with a Seasoned Warrior. The warrior will be their mentor until they are ready to receieve their own warrior name. Each apprentice learns how to hunt, fight and take care of their clan.

How can I get a unnatural cat?
-The ONLY way to get a unatural cat is to purchase with your claw marks the ability to create this cat. The cat can become any solid color that exists in berries and when RPing this cat just remeber that the cat has the undertone of its main color as well. And when you post for breedings you have to do the main color not the unnatural one.

Can a Lion be in TigerClan or a Tiger be in Lionclan?
-No. Only tigers can be in Tigerclan and lions in Lionclan. Maybe in the future i might let one or two be cross clan but currently no.

What are Claw Marks?
-Claw marks are the system we use for money. For every post you create you get 5 Claw Marks. To earn more you can compete in contests.

Can i create a Black/white Tiger/Leopard?
-Yes and No. Yes you may create ANY type of color tiger/lion/leopard/cheetah that is out there. However we are not going to have a slew of White tigers or Black lions or King cheetahs etc. If we start to get a lot of the rarer species then there will be a temporary ban on them.

Can i create a 6 foot tall lion?
-No. You must be realistic with your measurements. There will be some taller or some smaller then the average lion but they cant be dramatic changes.

How can i breed my cat with someone elses?
-Simple. All you have to do is fill out the breeding form located on the breeding board with the correct information and your cubs will be deilvered to you.

Can my female Leader/Deputy/Medicine cat have cubs?
-No. No feamles that hold those positions can have litters and if they do they lose that position.

Can my Lion breed with ___'s Tiger?
-Currently No. Only way this can happen is when a site wide plot comes up with hybrids.

Can I fight for Leader/Deputy/Medicine Cat?
-No. Each title is auditioned for when the auditions are open.

What is the Point of fighting if i cant get a higher rank?
-The point of fighting here is to have your warrior train your apprentice, and for each fight that is completed that is with your clan or other clans you can recieve claw marks to buy things in the shop.

Traditional Clan Greeting
This is said at the beginning of all ceremonies or announcements. The leader will place him/herself on the Highrock/Highledge to start the meeting.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the _________ for a Clan meeting."

Note: During emergencies Clan greetings may be shorter as every moment is vital.


Deputy Ceremony
"The time has come to appoint a new deputy. I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. __________ will be the new deputy."


Warrior Ceremony
"I, _____star, leader of ____Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. S/he has trained hard to under stand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn. _____paw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name: _____paw, from this moment on you will be known as _________. StarClan honors your _____ and your _____ and we welcome you as a full warrior of ____Clan."

Virtues
When become a warrior the leader says "StarClan honors your ______ and your ______ and...." These are what fill in the blanks.

Apprentice Ceremony
"From this day forward, until he/she has earned his/her warrior name, this apprentice will be called _____paw. ______, _________________________________. May you pass down all you know to this your apprentice."

Note: During the long blanks, the leader says who the mentor of the apprentice is, and says a sentence or two about the mentors skills, virtues, etc. Usually kept brief.


Dying Apprentice Ceremony
"I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/She has learned the warrior code and has given up his/her life in service of his/her Clan. Let StarClan recieve him/her as a warrior. His/Her name will be __________, because _________. Let StarClan recieve him/her by the name of __________.

Note: This is said when an apprentice that is almost old enough to be a warrior dies/is expected to die before he/she becomes one. This was used in Brightheart/Lostface's case.


Elder Ceremony
"___________, is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go join the elders?"

"It is."

"Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest."

Note: Sometimes the warrior name of the cat is changed to suit new features. See Name-Change Ceremony.


Medicine Cat Ceremony
(Medicine Cat) "_______________, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?"

"It is."

"Then come forward. Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the life of medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance to your will."

Name-Change Ceremony
"Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on, he/she will be known as _______. We honor his/her ______ and ______."
