Gender: Female
Age: 5 years
Clan: LeopardClan
Rank: Leader (auditioning)
Physical
Height: 31 in
Weight: 130 lbs
Appearance: She is tall for a female with strong, muscular legs. Her coat has a golden hue with the usual black spots dappling across the length of her body. Her chest and belly are soft like down feather and are more white than gold, as well as her paws and two spots on the tips of her ears. The remainder of her ears are black. Her eyes are a golden-amber color. Her tail darkens to black when nearing the tip.
Other: Her teeth and claws are kept in a remarkably good condition, sharp and shining.
Mental
Strengths:
. . . . . . . .Power: Eclipsefeather is very powerful, especially in her jaws and hind legs. She is an excellent jumper and is able to scale tall items or cross wide gaps with some ease. Her jaws can crush the skull of just about any animal smaller than or slightly bigger than she is. She is also a strong swimming and loves the water.
. . . . . . . .Stealth: She is very stealthy, able to blend well with her surroundings, despite the bright color of her coat. She can cross over leaves and twigs soundlessly, making her not only a good hunter, but a good fighter as well. She is able to keep the element of surprise to herself when in a battle.
. . . . . . . .Grace: Like most cats, she is graceful on her feet, landing on said appendages whenever she falls. Her grace is also a part of her agility, something she uses to dodge oncoming objects and attacks, also to maneuver her body when running around the object she is running in.
Weaknesses:
. . . . . . . .Honesty: She is a very honest character, preferring not to lie to those around her, for she feels it is wrong and hurtful. However, she can cause pain or a misunderstanding to another when she says something that she means to be truthful, not hurtful.
. . . . . . . .Distraction: She is not often like this, but when she is, she can easily be seen as a target. She lets her guard down in this state and is vulnerable to attack. Even though she is strong, getting caught off guard is one of the worst things she can do.
. . . . . . . .Rules: She is very picky about her own rules and punishments. To Eclipsefeather, her word is law and it must be followed. This can cause others to dislike her, for she can be rather dominant in a way others don't quite understand.
Personality: Eclipsefeather is very kind for a big cat, though she is often wearing a mask of no emotion. She prefers it that way, keeping her emotions hidden so she is not to cause anyone alarm. However, she is fiercely protective of those she has been put in charge of watching and of those she loves dearly. She finds it rather difficult to ignore those in need and she finds herself extremely aggressive when fighting off an enemy, especially one who intends to harm those she loves.
History: Eclipsefeather was born in the jungle with a small pack of leopards. It consisted of her mother, father, aunt, uncle, and grandparents. There was also her mother's best friend, one whom had saved her life and was allowed to live with them. It was unusual, because most leopards only lived with family. She was the only cub of the group. She was named the 'Eclipse' part of her name because the color of her pelt and eyes reminded her mother of the sun emerging from behind the moon in an eclipse.
Her mother's best friend, Emberspark, taught her to hunt and taught her to fight. She was the more formidable of the two categories, the only one able to complete both. She would often spar against her family members, and over time she began winning every single match. She was the best hunter, though rather reckless when she was younger, going after prey much too large for her to handle.
Throughout her life, there had been a large golden eagle that had terrorized them. The bird was very large and had killed the other cubs before her. It was a menace, and very crafty. The adults had never found a way to rid themselves of the wretched thing. So, she took it upon herself to do so. She was still Eclipsepaw, in the process of learning the ways of cats.
She decided to hide in the trees one day, finally believing in a strategy she had created to defeat the eagle. No one bothered her, thinking she was in a meditation state, and she was only waiting patiently for the bird to arrive. Eventually, it did, swooping back and forth for several minutes. Eclipsepaw watched and identified a pattern.
Once doing so, she used her powerful legs to leap from her tree perch at the right moment. She landed on the bird and sailed down to the ground with it, falling on top of it. With swift skill, she crushed its skull as she had been taught, finally killing the menace that had tortured her family for so long.
Her grandfather, the one who led them, decided she was worthy of a new name. He decided carefully, soon giving her the name Eclipsefeather, only because of the feathers she scattered when attacking the eagle. Also because the feather was a match to the hue of her pelt. When she came of age, she decided to leave and travel around.
